Highlights from the Nakiso Curl Fest 2016

Where were you on Saturday 8 October? Whatever you were doing, I hope you had as much fun, love and laughter as I did. I attended the Nakiso Curl Fest in JHB fulfilling more than one role and enjoying just interacting with you all on all things hair (and beauty and accessories).
Have you met the Chocolate Sisters above - they are absolutely adorable
This was the first event organised by the Nakiso Team and I must say well done to them. There were local products as well as the big international brands such as ORS, Cantu and Dark and Lovely and even a local big player MPL showcasing their ranges. All were catered for - it was a hair fest after all. Just a brief update in terms of ORS - they will be launching their ORS Curls Unleashed range in Clicks this month. They have already launched the ORS Curls Unleashed range in Clicks. EXCITING TIMES IN SA.

Above: Some scenes from the brands that were there and beauties that attended and thank you Lyn the assistant aka The Sister
Like most events, sometimes things do not go according to plan but it was great to see everyone just getting on with it and making the most of it, such joy. The Nakiso vision for the event is not as it was portrayed and I believe that it will be better - they are already planning the 2017 event. They have taken various feedback and inputs. Please contact Michelle or Athule should you wish to be a part of any upcoming events
Above: Thank you ladies for your support - Have you got a pair of the Jems of A Natural Accessories? - just drop me an email
I have written a post before on why I attend all these hair events and why I think you should too - see Why I attend. My roles at the events will change now and again but ultimately I am still there not just for myself but for you too.I therefore won't harp on in today's post except to say - if you see any post about hair events - ATTEND. You really do walk away with more - more knowledge, more inspiration, more friends, more love for hair and SELF, more of you.
Above: Love from Natasha and Shereen and this little one - yes that is all her hair - her momma is schooling her from birth that she is beatiful just the way she is  - thank you momma.
